Mission & Vision

Launch Your Nursing Agency with Affordable Training

My life purpose is to empower individuals to start a nursing agency. I want to help people nationally and internationally to believe in themselves and become an entrepreneur. This is done via very affordable training programs, saving SMEs thousands of pounds on otherwise time-wasting strategies. We empower people through my live training courses, home study courses, books, one-to-one coaching, DVDs, training workshops, introductions, one day events, online courses, a training app and tele-seminars.

After spending over twenty years without the support of a mentor, and with no-one else to turn to, I knew I needed help with setting up and running care businesses. This is why I created Matriarch Training & Consultancy Services Care Business Systems so you would not have to undergo the same experience. I would like to see everyone living their highest vision, more time with family, loved ones and friends. I want to be of service to 40,000 people in the UK, who have decided to start a nursing care agency. My vision is to help people really live their passion, by;

My ultimate goal is to help nursing agency startup organisations and care businesses to understand the aims and objectives of starting up, and to complete this vision by 2025.

Elevating Healthcare Standards

Starting a nursing agency

To set up and run a nursing agency in the UK, no medical background is required. Success depends on a desire to be your own boss, compassion for patients, and a clear understanding of the services provided. There’s a strong demand for nursing-care agency staff in residential nursing homes and NHS hospitals, highlighting the need for this service.

nursing staff

Why is there such demand for nursing staff?

The UK’s aging population has led to inadequate staffing levels in hospitals and care homes. As people live longer with long-term medical conditions and disabilities, the demand for care homes continues to grow. The NHS is struggling to meet this demand with reduced funding, resulting in shorter hospital stays and higher bed capacity, which means more residents are entering care homes with complex needs.

This situation underscores the importance of providing high-quality care, as care providers must meet the needs of residents to succeed in their businesses. Consequently, nursing agencies are becoming essential services, with an increasing demand for staff in hospitals, residential homes, nursing homes, and other health organizations to fill various temporary and permanent healthcare roles. This makes starting a nursing agency a lucrative business opportunity.

Why is there such demand for nursing staff?

In the UK, you do not need a license to operate a nursing agency for placing staff in nursing and residential homes or hospitals. However, if you plan to provide domiciliary care in individual homes, you must apply for registration with the Care Quality Commission.

Training

Care staff must be trained or have relevant training to provide quality service. The Care Certificate offers a framework for good practice and staff induction in health and social care settings. Following an independent review known as The Cavendish Review in February 2013, it was recommended that all healthcare assistants and social care support staff receive the same basic training based on the latest best practices.

Health Education England (HEE), Skills for Care (SFC), and Skills for Health (SFH) developed the Care Certificate, which consists of fifteen standards that health and social care workers, including assistants in hospitals, care homes, and individuals’ homes, must understand and be able to implement in their daily roles.

Nursing revalidation

Nursing Care Management (NMC) revalidation is the process by which nurses and midwives demonstrate to the NMC that they are practicing safely and effectively to remain on the register. To revalidate, nurses must declare to the NMC that they meet the standards of the revised NMC code, receive confirmation of this declaration, and provide evidence of how these standards have been achieved.

Agency Business

Two Types of Agency Business?

There are two types of agency business to consider:

When people talk about ‘agency workers’ or ‘temps’, they are typically talking about work-seekers who are hired from an employment business.

Our Services

What services do we offer

Your nursing agency start-up will be providing staff to health care organizations;

30+ Years Of Experience

I,Tim have been working as a transformational trainer for more than 30+ years and have mentored numerous individuals in discovering how to run a successful nursing agency and transforming their working lives. She is also a specialist in procurement-supply contract tendering.

Temporary Staffing

This involves placing staff into residential homes, nursing homes, or other health organizations on an ad hoc basis to address short-term staff shortages due to sickness, holidays, and other reasons. For instance, if you have ten agency workers available each week, and they each work thirty hours, this could generate a regular monthly income of over £5,000 in profit, depending on the number of staff placed and the associated percentages.

Permanent Staffing

Clients pay you a percentage of the annual salary of the staff members you place within their organization. For example, if the annual salary is £30,000 and you earn a 20% commission, your commission would be £6,000. Therefore, if you place four staff members per month, your total commission could reach £24,000.
